New for 2019, Lullingstone Castle is delighted to present “Classics at the Castle” event on Saturday 29th June in aid of the Henry Spink Foundation - £5 of every admission goes to the charity. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire around 100 classic cars at this special car rally, a great day out for all the family. The Henry Spink Foundation is an independent charity created to help families of children with severe disabilities of all kinds.

 Admission prices - Adult - £15 - children under 15 go FREE

Everyone can get involved with the archery sessions – fun for all the family!

It’s all “hopping” and happening in Sevenoaks this Easter holiday season! Take the family out for an egg-citing trail or hunt to catch those elusive bunnies or carrots. Blow away the Christmas Day cobwebs at Hever Castle!

Blow away the Christmas Day cobwebs with a bracing walk at Hever Castle! Open daily, 1030 am - 4.30 pm (last entry 3.30 pm), 27 December to 1 January. During this period, you’ll only pay for Garden entry with complimentary entry to the Castle included, so it’s a great value family treat!

So wrap up, put on your wellies and get out and about amongst the topiary, the flaming dogwood stems, winter berries or have an energetic burst by walking round the lake. Then revel in the blazing castle fires while you admire the Christmas decorations one final time this year.

Things that go bump in the night . . . at Lullingstone Castle!

HALLOWEEN MAGIC - 28th October. 12 noon - 7pm

Lullingstone Castle celebrates Halloween magic on its last day of the season; pumpkin carving, spooky house and garden tours – perfect for all the family. Tom will give garden tours at 1pm and dusk tour at 5pm, learn about the origins of pumpkins, colours and varieties and children can spot the Halloween tricks in eerie torchlight! Fancy dress is welcome – let’s celebrate the end of our season in style! Additional £1 donation for the pumpkin carving.

Medieval England comes to Hever!

The Knights of Royal England return to battle it out at the annual Hever Castle Jousting Tournament. Spectators will be treated to a thrilling show as the brave knights compete for points to find this season’s champion. Witness spectacular displays of action, stunts, falls and fights in an authentic arena complete with Royal Box.

Visit Ightham Mote tomorrow, Thursday 26 October to be wound up in their spider's web special! Be spooked at Lullingstone Castle with their Halloween highlights on Sunday 29 October (noon to 8 pm), with ghostly house tours and garden explorations, pumpkin carving and more!  Or be brave and visit Knole House on Saturday 28 October for some torchlight tours (5 pm - 8 pm)!

Find fresh air and eerie treats at Emmetts Garden; hunt the broomstick in the gardens at Penshurst Place and enjoy spine-tingling half-term fun at Hever Castle where you might win a prize for fancy dress!

Wear your Sombreros at Lullingstone!

Search out those sombreros to cut a dash at the Mexican Celebration at Lullingstone Castle, Saturday and Sunday, 16 and 17 September, 11 am - 5 pm.

2017 sees a new event arrive at The World Garden at Lullingstone Castle, a Mexican celebration weekend.  Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a Mexican plant tour with Tom Hart Dyke, enjoy the music and indulge with a taste of Mexico!  Tom will lead guided tours of the Hot & Spiky House & The World Garden at 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm - join at any time!  Our castle marquee will have a Mexican themed menu for the weekend, so pop along for a great family day out!

Celebrating Ightham at Ightham Mote on July 15

All lovers of Kent artisans, should head for the Celebrating Ightham Fair at Ightham Mote on Saturday 15 July, 10 am - 5 pm, with FREE entry.

Join us for a host of artisan craft stalls, Kent produce, food and zany entertainment.  Be it jewellery, pottery, that ever intriguing bric a brac hunt, Kent cobnut oil, well-being products, individual home accessories or just simply the fun of browsing for the unexpected, you'll find it at Ightham Mote on 15 July.

Add in zany entertainment, music, food, mouthwatering WI home-baked cakes and the glories of Ightham Mote, then this makes Celebrating Ightham an event not to be missed.

Lullingstone Castle Fire Engine Rally - 8/9 July

Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 July – 11am – 5pm –  is Lullingstone Castle's  *SPECIAL EVENT* weekend  - a Fire Engine Rally.  

An action packed ‘special event’ for all the family! A spectacular showcase of fire-fighting history with over 20 fire engines and carts from the Victorian hose carts and the Edwardian period right up to present day, courtesy of the Kent Firefighting Museum and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service. Experience epic live fire displays run by the Fire Service Preservation Group South East Branch enthusiasts, demonstrating how to put out various kinds of fires!  Younger visitors can get a slice of the action and learn how they operate, with the opportunity to even squirt the hoses!
