Bask in reflected glory at Great Comp Garden's Rolls-Royce Day on Sunday 19 August, noon to 4 pm. 

The South Eastern Section of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club will be holding a gathering of their beautiful cars for all to admire.  If you're a car enthusiast, or just want to image how it might feel to be driven in one, this is the outing for you! 

Rolls-Royce and Bentley are world famous British cars, so don's miss the opportunity to chat informally to their enthusiastic owners and followers.

The garden and tearoom are open as usual with normal admission applying.

Great Comp Music Festival 2018

No need to travel to the Wigmore Hall or even Sussex, as your very own mini-Glyndbourne is right on your doorstep at Great Comp Garden, near Sevenoaks!

Booking has now opened for this musical gem.  So make sure you book NOW to hear the glories of  BBC Young Musician winner, Laura van der Heijden, ‘cello, as well as Alec Frank-Gemmill, BBC Young Generation Artist and the principal horn of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Both artists grew up locally.

Other performers include The Primavera Chamber Ensemble, The Coull Quarter, Tango Siempre and many more providing a stimulating and tempting offering of classical, tango, piano and string music. 

The intimacy of the Great Comp's Stable auditorium is the perfect backdrop to showcase this dazzling programme of summer music.  A MUST book moment!

Spring Fever!

There's much to love in February as not only is it St Valentine's month, it's also the month to celebrate the delights of Galanthus Nivalis, the snowdrop, that great harbinger of Spring and spring sunshine.

Celebrate this fabulous spring bulb at Great Comp Garden's Snowdrop Sensation Plant Fair on Sunday 18 February.  The plant fair itself, with its tempting array of those delightful nodding blooms, runs from 10 am to noon.  The gardens, themselves a spring delight, remain open until 4 pm.

An additional attraction is a lecture on spring bulbs by Val Bourne, acclaimed garden writer. photographer and lecturer.  The 1130 am lecture requires advance booking and tickets are limited so book now!

Autumn Extravaganza at Great Comp Garden

It's almost here, the great Autumn Extravaganza at Great Comp Garden at Platt, near Sevenoaks, Kent

Saturday and Sunday, 14 and 15 October, 11am - 5 pm, are the dates for this Autumn highlight.  Crafts, plants, artisan food - it's all there for you.  So whether you're seeking early Christmas shopping, Autumn green-fingered inspiration or just the joy of seeing the glories of Autumn at Great Comp, this is the weekend for you.

Normal admission fees apply with 20% day entry discount for RHS members.

You know Spring has arrived when the Spring Fling Garden Fair at Great Comp Garden, in Platt, near Sevenoaks, is imminent!  Sunday 9th April, 11 am - 5 pm, is the date for this annual feast of plant and craft stalls.  What's more, you can glory in Great Comp garden's spring blooms and feel refreshed by the home-baked goodies in the Tea Room.

Snowdrop Sensation!

Are you a galanthophile? If not, you might become one if you visit Great Comp Garden, near Sevenoaks, on Sunday 19 February for their Snowdrop Sensation.  Come and chat to the experts, admire their blooms and be prepared to be converted into a lover of these spring glories!
